Beta Boulder Blast is an annual rock climbing competition hosted by Beta Bouldering Gym. Every year, athletes from all over the southwest travel to Flagstaff, Arizona to compete.

This event's theme was 'psychedelic.' I wanted the design to remind viewers of 3D glasses, layering the brand's blue and red together to create a trippy and dynamic effect. The design features a rock climber, illustrated in vector.

The coordinating t-shirt design was created with an old-school scanning technique to create a melting effect, which was then vectorized and combined with the climber illustration.
